Producer, J.Y. Park
revealed a shocking truth about his self-composed song, “Love has Left Again“.
On the May 12th broadcast of KBS‘s ‘Immortal Song 2‘, J.Y.
Park was guest-featured on the show. During the program, singer, Huh Gak sang a
rendition of Lee Ki Chan‘s
“Love has Left Again”. After his performance, J.Y. Park revealed a
shocking truth. ”[That
song] is about Lee Hyori‘s real life“, he said.
He continued, “I wrote this song after I heard about
Lee Hyori’s separation from her boyfriend, while drinking [alcohol] together.
It conveys the pain Lee Hyori experienced from losing her love.”
J.Y. Park also drew laughs
when he explained that he personally wanted to sing his own song, but was
discouraged by composer, Bang
Si Yuk, who also sat with J.Y. Park and Lee Hyori at the time.
However, the song became a hit, and J.Y. Park expressed his regret.
However, he admitted, “It
was [successful] because Lee Ki Chan sang it“.
On another note, J.Y. Park
didn’t hold back on compliments to Huh Gak, who did an outstanding rendition of
the song, despite his ill condition.
