Taecyeon and Gui Gui are filming for the ‘We Got Married‘ world version in Korea’s beautiful Jeju Island!

The two had their honeymoon at the Iho Teu Beach on the island, where they got to know each other by playing around at the pool, having a romantic dinner, sharing a love shot, and holding each other’s hands tightly.

There filming happened on the 5th, and there is no set date for the airing of the episode as of yet. While you wait, check out the photos taken from the set below!

2PM’s Taecyeon accepted to Korea University Graduate School

It looks like 2PM‘s Taecyeon is having a great 2013 so far. JYP Entertainment has announced that the beastly idol has been accepted into Korea University Graduate School, and he’s preparing for admission.

Taecyeon, who graduated from Dankook University with a degree in business administration, took the exam for Korea University Graduate School’s Humanities and Social Studies Department of International Business in secret. After receiving a notification of his acceptance, he’s currently considering attending the graduate school’s orientation on February 27th. A JYP rep said that though it’s likely Taecyeon will attend orientation as he’s in Korea, his schedule might prevent him from attending.

On another note, 2PM recently concluded their ‘Arena Tour‘, and they’ll be holding a concert at Tokyo Dome in April in front of 110,000 fans.

Taecyeon rumored to be paired up with Taiwanese singer and actress Wu Ying Jie for ‘world version’ of ‘We Got Married’

As previously reported, 2PM‘s Taecyeon is said to be in talks for a ‘world version’ of the popular faux-marriage variety program ‘We Got Married‘, and now there is word on who his partner may be if the idol does indeed star in the show.

According to a report, an insider from the Taiwanese entertainment industry revealed, “Wu Ying Jie[stage name: Gui Gui] has been confirmed to appear as Taecyeon’s on-screen wife on ‘We Got Married – World Version’… The contract has already been completed, and she is waiting for the filming date.”

Wu Ying Jie, who is also known as Gui Gui, is a Taiwanese singer and actress, who debuted as part of the idol group ‘Hey Girl‘. Since then, she has been active in the entertainment industry taking on acting roles as well as MC roles. She is also said to speak three languages including her native language as well as Japanese and English.

Regarding the report, JYP Entertainment told one media outlet: “Taecyeon is still not confirmed for the ‘world version’ of ‘We Got Married’. He is still looking over the offer… MBC has not revealed any information to us, so we don’t know anything [regarding his rumored partner]. As of now, Taecyeon is still looking over it.”

To another source, they commented, “Several stars are in consideration to become Taecyeon’s partner. Wu Ying Jie is one of them, but nothing is certain…. Everything will probably be confirmed next week.”

As mentioned before, the ‘world version’ of the show will star two couples with one member of each couple being from Korea, and the other member being from overseas.

Once filming is completed, the show is planned to be broadcast in many countries, but whether it will be broadcast in Korea as well, is unknown at the moment.

In related news, KARA‘s Nicole is said to be the other idol in consideration for the same ‘world version’ of ‘We Got Married’ and is currently in discussion about taking on the offer.

2PM’s Junho and Taecyeon sing “Path Towards You” for Chansung’s drama ’7th Grade Civil Servant’

2PM‘s Junho and Taecyeon are showing their support for fellow member Chansung‘s drama with the release of an OST track!

The song released is titled “Path Towards You” and has been specifically created for the MBC mini-series ‘7th Grade Civil Servant‘ (previously referred to as ‘My Girlfriend Is An Agent‘), which is premiering today (23rd)!

“Path Towards You” portrays the love and hate relationship between Han Gil Ro (Joo Won) and Kim Suh Won (Choi Kang Hee) in the drama.

2PM‘s Taecyeon updated his fans with another selca of his new short haircut.

On December 11th, he tweeted, “My hair is short now kekeke I’m getting younger~ kekeke“. He had cut off his long hair from before and stylized his hair up, showing off his good looks. His short hair seems to have only improved his image as a ‘beast-dol’, displaying his sharp jawline and masculine charms.

2PM‘s Taecyeon and Wooyoung showed off their new haircuts.

On December 10th, Taecyeon tweeted, “I cut my hair!! kekeke. Be happy, Ok-fans~ kekeke“, and posed with a cute peace sign. His hair was still slightly wet and spiked upward.

In reply, Wooyoung tweeted, “I cut my hair too!! kekeke. Be happy, Jang-fans~ kekeke“, copying Taecyeon’s style and uploading a photo of himself as well. Wooyoung also seems to have also re-bleached and re-dyed the light blue parts of his hair.

Taecyeon, CL, Sohee, Yoo Ah In, Song Hye Gyo and others attend Chanel’s ‘The Little Black Jacket’ event

Some of Korea’s top celebrities attended a Chanel event in Seoul.

The event was held in Gangnam’s Beyond Museum on November 28th for the launch of Chanel’s ‘The Little Black Jacket‘ exhibition. Karl Lagerfeld, head designer and creative director for Chanel carefully selected 100 photos of celebrities wearing representative items from Chanel and these photographs will be featured in the exhibition.

Top celebrities such as Song Hye Gyo, Yoo Ji Tae, Yoo Ah In, Joo Ji Hoon, Lee Soo Hyuk, 2NE1‘sCL, Wonder Girls‘ Sohee, and 2PM‘s Taecyeon attended the event. Famous foreign models Poppy Delevingne, Yasmin Le Bon, Jessica Stam, and Frankie Rayder were also in attendance.

The exhibition will run from December 1st to December 12th.

2PM‘s Taecyeon has made another transformation!

The idol joked that his new hairstyle reminds him of Iori from the fighting game ‘The King of Fighters‘. Taecyeon tweeted on the 30th, “This time, Ok Taecyeon is Iori from ‘King of Fighters’. Kekeke. Which character will my next hairstyle remind you of?? Kekeke.”

The 2PM member also posted a photo with the character, making it apparent that his new, red hairstyle does make him bear a resemblance to the video game character.

It seems fans weren’t too fond of the change, however. They commented, “Burn your hair. Haha”, “I don’t like your new hair T.T”, and “‘King of Fighters’ flashback. Where are your flaming chains?”. 2AM‘sSeulong also responded, “This looks kind of good Keke.”

2PM’s Taecyeon receives perfect score on TOEIC

2PM‘s Taecyeon has received a perfect score of 990 on the TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication).

Taecyeon tweeted on the 24th, “I took the TOIEC last time, and the results are out now. It’s not 10 out of 10, but 990/990,” along with a photo of his amazing score.

Fans commented, “Oppa, you’re not human”, “Amazing. When’s my score coming out?”, and “What do you lack exactly? Oh yeah… fashion [sense]“.

The TOEIC is “an English language test designed specifically to measure the everyday English skills of people working in an international environment.”

MBLAQ, 2PM, and F.T. Island proved their friendship.

On October 23rd, F.T. Island’s Hongki tweeted a photo of 11 members from the various groups along with the words, “Where do you think I am?“. The photo showed MBLAQ’s G.O and Seungho, 2PM’sJunho, Chansung, Jun.K, Taecyeon, and Wooyoung, along with F.T. Island’s Hongki, Jaejin,Jonghoon, and Minhwan.

The idol members seem to be at a banquet hall of some kind, and are dressed casually. Most of them are shooting bright smiles and peace signs at the camera and are huddled tightly close together, showing off their friendship. missA’s Suzy, 2PM’s Taecyeon and Junsu Donated 800Kg Rice Wreaths to Good Neighbors

Korean idol groups 2PM’s Taecyeon and Junsu alongside with miss A’s Suzy generously donate 800Kg of rice wreaths that they received from their fans to Good Neighbors. This news is recently became the hot buzz topic.

The  rice wreaths that they received from fans last August 4th, during ‘2012 JYP NATION’ concert has been delivered to NGO association Good Neighbors on October 8th.

2012 JYP Nation is lead by JYP and included Wonder Girls, 2PM, 2AM, Miss A, Joo, San E, JJ Project, and many more. The concert gathered about 10,000 fans plus 36,000 fans in Japan.
The rice wreaths that the fans have sent are delivered to the Good Neighbors appointed by each of the individual JYP entertainment artists and are being used to feed poverty-stricken children both at home and abroad.

In the other hand, JYP entertainment has donated 300 million Korean WON  to support the devastation of the March 2011 Japan earthquake last year and has also donated 130 million Korean WON to support the flood in Thailand during November 2011. Also, JYP Entertainment artists have been volunteering privately at a hospital in Gangnam for around 10 years now and are also known for their other volunteering activities.

To All The HOTTEST in the World.

Everyone!
It’s been almost 4 years since our début already.
During this time we have experienced many moments of joy and happiness, hardships and suffering, but I am really grateful you have shared it with us. The 6 members of 2PM are now here, because HOTTEST has always been together with us. I can do nothing else, but thank you for always believing in us.

Also, creating music and performing on stage bring me the biggest consolation and strength. This year I was suddenly overwhelmed by a tremendous wave. I could be seen drifting inside of it. But I had a dream, I could write music and because there were also all of you who would love that music, I felt I was bound to stop drifting away this very instance.

Thank you for giving me strength.
I will come back once more having developed more, having an ability to reach your hearts!
