Singer and producer J.Y. Park has
been revealed to have earned the most royalties from music last year.
According to a statement released by the Korea Music
Copyright Association (KOMCA), J.Y. Park raised his income by over 1.37
billion Won ($1,240,000 USD) just last year.
He beat out composer Jo Young Soo, who has ranked
first for most royalties earned for the past 4 years. J.Y. Park has usually
ranked high on the list, but this is the first time he’s reached the top.
Though specific details concerning his copyright revenues
have not been released, J.Y. Park is known to compose his own songs as well as
the songs of artists under his label, JYP Entertainment.
